Describe details of the offence here. Jane was one of the dogs we pulled from Clayton GA, they were same day euthanasia's and we did a foster to adopt for this dog Jane. The applicant stuck around for the medical then dipped without paying the adoption fee. This was our last FTA as a result! She had been taking care of the dog so no issue there, last year we got a call she was dumping the dog at another rescue. Due to a miscommunication she dipped before we were able to get there. Today 1/1/2026 I got a call from a local animal control (no they weren't taking the dog in) that a person had brought her in to be scanned. Thankfully that person was able/willing to get back to us and we recovered her but dumping a dog is not an option for us.

They got this dog from me (Sierra Pacific Great Pyrenees Rescue) This dog was an old dog and deserved better than being dumped at the contra costa, CA animal shelter. He probably had a medical issue.
Nayani Balboa and her husband, known on Facebook as Tr Sanz, own 5 dogs, at least 3 possibly 4 being huskies. (Against the terms of there home lease) The dogs repeatedly escape as seen on the Facebook posts and this time, the dogs went on a killing spree thru a distant neighborhood after Vanessa McInnis thought she was helping by picking them up in the middle of town and bringing them to an abandoned home next door to her. She was unable to secure them and they wreaked havoc killing people’s pets left and right. Neither the dog owner nor Vanessa own up to making bad decisions. They continue to insist the dogs are nice and friendly and they were heroes that day. It was documented with the Sumter city police and is being assessed they animal control currently. It will be a civil matter. My cat was killed in my own back yard by these two dogs and the lady two doors down lost 3 kittens out of her garage. There were many other victims.
Offender Name: Mireya Arellano Offenders Last Known Address: 6130 Ingram Rd San Antonio, TX, 78238 Details of the offence: She had 2 huskys, one that she dumped almost immediately after getting from someone online. Another one she had for a few years, dumped it after she neglected the dog for so long after the dog bit her youngest son. Dog was locked in a cage inside a closet and ended up just skin and bones, she stopped feeding her, giving her water and taking her out to use the restroom. After she realized how neglected the dog was she decided the dump the dog on the south side of San Antonio. The dog was picked up and held onto while they actively tried to contact her about her dog since the dog was registered to her, while she ignored every message incoming. The dog was eventually euthanized. She does not have the physical or mental capability of taking care of a pet nor can she financially care for a pet. She was careful not to mention anything in texts or messages but myself and other people are witnesses to her mistreatment of the pets she's owned and her dumping the animals and her admitting it to us. I don't know where the euthanized dog was held but I'm sure there's some way to look it up. The dogs name was Lagoona/Luna. She recently tried to adopt a dog but got removed from the list for the dog so I'm unsure if she's already on some list to prevent her from getting any more pets.

Witnessed by multiple neighbors. Police were called on him for abusing his dog. His girlfriend ended up taking the dog and leaving him because of the abuse. The dog was malnourished. Has a lot of psychiatric problems as well
