Allegations Involving Deceased Kittens

According to police statements reported by multiple Florida news organizations, investigators received allegations that the seven kittens died from various forms of trauma.

Reported allegations included kittens being thrown to the ground, struck in the face, drowned, and subjected to other forms of physical trauma.

One allegation described a kitten being struck in a manner that reportedly resulted in a broken neck. These descriptions originated from the criminal investigation and remain allegations unless established through court proceedings.

Search of Residence

Port St. Lucie detectives executed a search warrant at Ramsbott's Port St. Lucie residence on June 19, 2025, while he was reportedly outside the United States.

During the search, investigators removed four surviving kittens from the residence and seized multiple electronic recording and storage devices for forensic examination.

Condition of Surviving Kittens

The four surviving kittens were transferred to the Humane Society of St. Lucie County for examination and care.

According to police, one kitten was found to have a mandibular fracture caused by trauma and visible swelling of the jaw.

Two additional kittens reportedly had eye discharge associated with infection or stress. Another kitten that had initially been reported as having a possible broken leg was examined and was instead believed to have suffered a muscular injury.

On June 25, 2025, Ramsbott was taken into custody at Miami International Airport by a U.S. Marshals Service task force after arriving on an international flight.

Authorities charged him with eight felony counts of aggravated animal cruelty.
